HEALTH AS AN INVESTMENT SYMPOSIUM.

Kenya Medical Association  (KMA) held the health as an investment symposium on 26th July at KMA center, Nairobi. In attendance was Dr. Jacqueline Kitulu, KMA president, Rebecca Mbithi, CEO Family Bank, Dr. Andrew Suleh, Dr. Ahmed Kalebi CEO Lancet Kenya and other delegates. The attendees meant to hold discussions on how to invest in and improve healthcare. Physicians were advised by head of banks and insurance companies on health business.

Rebecca Mbithi, CEO Family Bank Kenya talked about the health sector and knowing how to make your money work for you by knowing the opportunities to invest in and innovations within the sector to grow economically. Dr. Makanga from Apical Med on made a presentation on investing in medical equipment. Dr. Mwangi from Kenya Dentists Association talked about ways of building a successful medical practice in the 21st Century by investing in technology, human resource and providing efficient customer care.

Also Dr. simon Kigondu, chairperson KMA made a presentation on group practice and how important it is for physicians to work together.
