The Kenya Medical Association (KMA) has formally entered into a strategic partnership with the Africa Center for Health Systems and Gender Justice (ACHGJ) following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the KMA Boardroom.
The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between the two institutions in expanding access to reproductive healthcare in Kenya, with particular focus on improving access to safe and legal abortion services and advancing sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR).
The MoU was signed by KMA President, Dr. Simon Kigondu, and ACHGJ Executive Director, Dr. Stellah Bosire. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the KMA CEO and attended by members of the KMA National Governing Council.

Advancing Reproductive Health and Rights
Through this partnership, KMA and ACHGJ will collaborate in key areas including:
- Joint advocacy initiatives to advance sexual and reproductive health rights
- Capacity building for healthcare providers
